Project confidentiality and access rules
Last updated: 12 September 2026.
1. Progressive disclosure
Selected project summaries may be published with the owner’s approval. Publication does not provide access to confidential documents or enable an investment transaction through the website. Public summaries require approval for publication; permission for a private presentation does not itself authorise publication. For private project information, Tillerstone, LLC uses four disclosure levels:
- Internal qualification. The founder personally receives necessary materials under an agreed seller permission for structuring, fact review and matching. Any later specialist access requires a defined purpose, suitable confidentiality arrangements and the relevant permission.
- Non-identifying presentation. A short Snapshot is shared with selected participants under a current general seller permission. Separate approval of each Snapshot is unnecessary if it stays within that permission and does not reasonably identify the asset or an individual.
- Identity disclosure. Name, SPV, owner, exact location and identifying grid information require separate approval for the specific investor and satisfaction of the NDA requirement.
- Document access. Recipient, specified folders/documents and access rights are approved separately; a current NDA and absence of an unresolved compliance obstacle are required.
If even indirect attributes together identify a project, we apply identity-disclosure controls or generalise further. An internal project code does not itself ensure anonymity.
These levels concern later disclosure, not the first enquiry. First contact requires only a short non-confidential outline. It does not authorise an introduction, access to documents or disclosure of identity, and it does not automatically move a project into qualification.
2. Permission limits
Permission to disclose identity does not authorise delivery of the entire archive. An NDA does not replace seller approval or provide a standalone ground for all personal-data processing or international transfers. Other information owners’ rights and legal requirements are checked separately.
Price or valuation is disclosed only under its agreed mode: withheld; an approved broad range; after NDA; or specific approval for each investor. Approval must come from an appropriately authorised person.
3. Recipient obligations
Before private access, a recipient must accept applicable contractual terms. Materials are used only for the agreed evaluation purpose. Access is limited to named users or properly permitted representatives who need the information and are bound by confidentiality. Do not share credentials, public links or materials with another investor or an unapproved adviser.
Do not upload materials to public generative-AI services or third-party systems permitting model training or uncontrolled secondary use without separate written permission and suitable safeguards. Do not use information for reverse identification or unrelated competitive purposes.
Direct contact with a project counterparty identified through confidential information follows the signed NDA. This page does not independently establish a non-circumvention fee or prohibit lawful independent contacts.
4. Access control
Investors receive only the approved subset, not the internal root folder. Internal notes, inconsistency assessments, other investors’ information and negotiation history are excluded unless separately justified. Personal data unnecessary for evaluation is redacted or removed.
We record recipient, access basis, date, material version and access expansion or withdrawal. Permission may be time-limited and does not renew automatically. Materials must be considered with their date and evidence status.
5. Withdrawal, closure and incidents
A seller may suspend new presentations or withdraw permission for future disclosure in writing to contact@tillerstone.eu. After receiving and verifying the notice, we stop the relevant new disclosures and close access within our control. Material changes, authority concerns, security risks or sanctions obstacles may also cause suspension.
Withdrawal does not undo earlier lawful disclosures or terminate existing NDA duties. Downloaded copies cannot be guaranteed technically recoverable; we require cessation of use and return/deletion under the agreement. Lawful exceptions for mandatory retention and backups are narrow and remain subject to confidentiality.
A recipient suspecting unauthorised access must notify contact@tillerstone.eu without undue delay, preserve necessary evidence and stop further dissemination. Mandatory reporting deadlines are set by law and contract.
6. Relationship with agreements
This page explains the process. Specific rights and duties arise from the signed NDA, seller permission, release approval and services agreement. Updating a public page does not expand an existing permission or amend an agreement without appropriate acceptance. Mandatory law, lawful authority disclosures and legally protected reporting remain unaffected.
